Aberdeen-based specialist cleaning company NEREC Ltd has responded to a record number of flood incidents so far in 2026, following prolonged periods of heavy rainfall across the North-east.
The increased demand has seen the team provide emergency support to a wide range of sites, including hotels, restaurants, office buildings, leisure centres and domestic properties.
NEREC’s flood response services include water extraction using tanker units, installation and operation of industrial dehumidifiers, and full clean-up and sanitisation works to help properties return to safe operational use as quickly as possible.
