NEREC Ltd was proud to sponsor a recent Aberdeen Young Professionals (AYP) networking event, helping bring together professionals from across the region for an evening focused on connection, collaboration, and community.

The event welcomed a strong turnout of young professionals from a wide range of industries, creating valuable opportunities to build networks, share experiences, and develop relationships within Aberdeen’s evolving business landscape. Supporting initiatives that encourage collaboration and professional growth is an important part of NEREC’s wider commitment to investing in the next generation of business leaders.

As a growing North-east business, NEREC recognises the importance of creating opportunities for young professionals to connect, learn from one another, and gain confidence within the local business community. By supporting events such as AYP, the company aims to contribute to a stronger and more connected professional network that helps retain talent in the region and supports long-term economic growth.

The evening also supported Student Minds, with fundraising linked to Business Development and Marketing Manager Ross Skene’s upcoming Mount Kilimanjaro charity challenge. NEREC’s sponsorship of the welcome drink helped maximise the funds raised on the night, allowing all the proceeds to go directly towards the fundraising.

Supporting initiatives that develop people, strengthen professional networks, and contribute positively to the wider community remains an important focus for NEREC as the business continues to grow across the region and beyond.
