The former coffee house, Cognito at the Cross, located inside Fountainhall Church at the Cross in Albyn Place, is under new ownership.

Kirsteen and Phil Webb started early this month their new hospitality venture with Café at the Cross.

Ensuring the continuity of the high standard quality of service provided by the former owner, Kirsteen and Phil have already started implementing their new vision for the Café with new menu options (and more coming soon) and the extension of their opening times until 4pm on weekdays, from 9am to 4pm on Saturdays as well as reopening on Sundays from 10am to 4pm.

The partnership between Fountainhall Church and Café at the Cross provides a wide range of opportunities for the groups meeting in the premises, from hosting events in the adjacent halls with all the hospitality at hand to hiring the space of the coffee house for informal evening events.

With this move, Fountainhall Church with their three venues in the West End of Aberdeen (Albyn Place, Beaconsfield Place and Harcourt Road) continues their strategy to open their premises to the wider community, becoming in the last 10 years very active and dynamic community hubs. From yoga sessions to business breakfasts, the possibilities are endless.
