Local charity shopping in Aberdeen is easier than ever thanks to a new partnership between the Salvation Army and the trailblazing Scotland Loves Local Gift Card.
Scottish Salvation Army charity shops are now accepting regional physical and digital Scotland Loves Local Gift Cards across 55 of its locations across Scotland, including the Aberdeen Gift Card in the Granite City.
More than 340 businesses in Aberdeen are now part of the trailblazing Aberdeen Gift Card. Delivered by Aberdeen Inspired. The card has delivered £7.5m into the local economy to date.
Over 30 Scotland Loves Local Gift Cards are available for regions across Scotland, with more than 7000 businesses participating and over £18million locked into Scotland through the initiative.
The partnership between The Salvation Army’s trading arm, Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL), further strengthens the retail offering through the Scotland Loves Local Gift Card. Cards can be spent with a variety of big brand and independent stores across Scotland, alongside hospitality, health and beauty, accommodation and services.
