Dev4 Online, a software development company specialising in modern business technologies, has recently welcomed a new member to its growing team.
Gustavo Rangel, a recent graduate of Robert Gordon University, has joined the company as a Software Developer.
The connection between Gustavo and Dev4 began at the RGU Hackathon, where the company’s focus on innovation and openness left a lasting impression. Motivated by the encounter, Gustavo later applied for a software development opportunity with the business, and has now officially taken up his role.
Gustavo holds a First Class Honours degree in Computing (Application Software Development), and his final-year project centred on designing an Adaptive User Interface (AUI) to improve accessibility in Virtual Learning Environments for older students and visually impaired users.
Alongside his academic work, Gustavo has developed a strong portfolio of personal projects, including an AI-driven restaurant software prototype and educational content for cybersecurity awareness, all of which demonstrate his initiative and versatility as a developer.
At Dev4, he will be contributing to several high-impact software initiatives, including Equi-Track — the company’s cloud-based equipment management platform, which helps businesses efficiently monitor and manage their assets.
With a strong emphasis on practical solutions, innovation, and emerging technologies, Dev4 continues to build a talented team focused on delivering value-driven software for the modern business landscape.
