Nexos, a leading provider of integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services across the UK energy market, has secured more than £8million in new contracts to deliver specialist Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC) services for major operators across the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) since January.

This follows an announcement from earlier in the year that the firm had expanded its HVAC team headcount by over 50% following success in 2024.

The team expanded from eight employees to 20 as it reported that revenues had doubled in the past two years.

The most recent awards, which span both onshore and offshore assets, highlight nexos’ proven experience and continued success in delivering critical infrastructure services that ensure operational safety, regulatory compliance, and performance efficiency across complex energy environments.

nexos’ in-house HVAC specialists will carry out the secured scopes including planned preventative maintenance, 24/7 emergency support, system upgrades, and full HVAC design, installation, and commissioning.

“These contract wins are a strong endorsement of our technical capabilities and the confidence our customers place in our HVAC team and build on a growing pipeline of long-term service agreements.” said Lee Youngson, Operations Manager for nexos. “In an increasingly cost-conscious and performance-driven market, we remain focused on providing agile smart ways of working to optimise labour and maximise efficiency”.

nexos, a D2Zero company, operates from facilities positioned near strategic industrial hubs across the UK. This enables close support for a wide range of energy infrastructure including offshore platforms, FPSOs, terminals, and processing plants.
