Decommissioning specialists, NMC Energy, have welcomed two new recruits to the team in Aberdeen as it continues growing to meet demand in the North Sea’s evolving energy landscape.
Ajin Sabu joins the business as a project co-ordinator, bringing hands on experience in both offshore and onshore wind projects.
With a background in project co-ordination, technical support and quality assurance, Ajin is keen to apply his knowledge to the decommissioning sector and is particularly interested delivering major energy projects from concept to completion. He looks forward to contributing to NMC’s growth journey and expanding his skills across project delivery, planning and stakeholder engagement.

Also joining the team is Ben Schrader, a MEng cChemical Engineering student at the University of Aberdeen. Originally from Fraserburgh, Ben is completing a summer placement with NMC, building on previous internship experience supporting tech safety and operations at the St Fergus Gas Terminal.
He is enthusiastic about gaining exposure to offshore operations and deepening his understanding of upstream oil and gas decommissioning, aligning closely with his academic focus and long-term interest in process safety.
