Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the appointment of two non-executive directors to the board, Greg Quinn and Tricia Walker.

Greg left the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) in June 2024 after 29 years of service around the world. He subsequently set up his own consultancy business, Aodhan Consultancy Ltd, which provides services to clients across a variety of areas, including project management, political analysis, risk management and training.

He is a Volunteer Director of Scotways (the Scottish Rights of Way and Access Society – www.scotways.com) as well as being the Volunteer Secretary at GlenWyvis Distillery in Dingwall (Scotland’s only community- owned distillery – www.glenwyvis.com). He is also a Member of the Governing Council at the Canada-UK Council.

A native of Northern Ireland Greg has had connections to Scotland since the late 1980s. He is an advocate for Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire and keen to use his international experience to support and build the business community in the region.

Tricia Walker

Tricia is an Employment Law expert, having practiced as a lawyer in Aberdeen for over 20 years.  She was born in the North West of England, but she moved to Aberdeen after school in order to attend the University of Aberdeen for her undergraduate degree. 

In her professional life, Tricia is a partner at one of Scotland’s largest commercial law firms, Shepherd and Wedderburn, and acts for businesses and employers in all sectors operating across the UK and beyond.

Before taking up her new role on the AGCC board, Tricia sat on the board at Robert Gordon University as an independent Governor for eight years and also sits as a committee member on the Scottish Employment Law Group.

Having settled in the North-east of Scotland, Tricia is passionate about supporting local initiatives and growing the local economy.

In her personal life, she enjoys the great outdoors and loves nothing more than being out in the Scottish mountains whether on foot, on her bike, or on skis.
