Aberdeen-based telecoms provider DF Communications has officially announced the return of its annual golf event for 2026, and this year promises to be better, sharper, and more competitive than ever.

Firmly established as one of the North East’s most anticipated business golf gatherings, the newly refreshed DFC Golf Business Golf 2026 Season will tee off in April at Trump International Golf Links Scotland, bringing together local businesses for a season of competitive play, high-quality hospitality and meaningful networking.

The opening event will take place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 on the exciting New Course, featuring a two-ball competition format and a two-course lunch, setting the tone for a season that blends elite links golf with strong business connections.

Over the years, the DF Golf event has grown from a single fixture into a respected business series, attracting companies from across the North-east energy, professional services and supply chain sectors.

Previous winners have included:

  • 3T Training
  • ITB Competence Assurance
  • KLT Networking
  • Northstar Shipping
  • Glacier Energy
  • SKN
  • Trump International

The calibre of past champions reflects the competitive standard and business credibility of the event, but organisers stress that the real value lies beyond the leaderboard.

“We’ve always believed this is about more than golf,” said Craig Forsyth, Sales Director at DF Communications. “It’s about creating a relaxed but professional environment where businesses can connect properly. Deals have been discussed, partnerships formed, and long-term relationships built out on the course.”

Participants will join the DFC Golf Business Directory, an exclusively curated network of North East companies competing and building meaningful connections throughout the 2026 season. The programme will open on championship links at Trump International and conclude with a prestigious finale on the Old Course.

With a refreshed format designed to keep competition high and engagement strong, DF Communications is now inviting businesses across Aberdeen and the wider North East to register their interest for the 2026 season.

Places are limited to maintain the quality of the experience and networking opportunities.

Businesses interested in taking part in the DF Golf Series 2026 can register their interest via this link.
