Northwood has celebrated a significant milestone as its Inverurie office marked five successful years of serving homeowners, landlords and tenants across the area.
Since opening its doors in 2021, the office has grown into a trusted lettings and estate agency, managing properties across Inverurie, Kemnay, Kintore, Oldmeldrum, Insch and Blackburn, with additional landlords choosing Northwood's let-only service.
Alongside its lettings business, the company's estate agency continues to go from strength to strength, with a growing portfolio of homes for sale.
While the business has expanded steadily over the past five years, becoming part of the local community has also been an important element of its growth strategy.
From the beginning, the Inverurie team has embraced opportunities to support local organisations, charities and events, as well as maintaining an active commitment to Inverurie BID, working alongside fellow businesses to help promote the town and encourage people to shop, visit and invest locally.
Supporting Inverurie has also included taking part in some of the many fundraising events in the town. One standout moment was in 2023, when Northwood sponsored and hosted the ‘Mighty Munro’ in Inverurie as part of the CLAN Cancer Support Hare trail, helping to raise awareness and funds for the charity while bringing visitors into the town centre.
The team also supports the annual Inverurie Christmas Light Switch-On celebrations, as well as the Garioch Run, with proceeds from these events helping charities including Cash for Kids and CLAN Cancer Support, which support families and individuals across the North-east.
In addition, the office hosts its own fundraising events, including an initiative where money raised is used to buy Christmas gifts for Cash for Kids, ensuring children across the region receive presents. The team has also rolled up its sleeves to support charity events at Castle Fraser, getting involved in everything from fundraising activities to community days.
Over the years, Northwood North-east has been a sponsor of the Pride of Inverurie Awards, celebrating the people and organisations that make the town special. Last year's award success was a particularly proud moment, recognising the team's dedication not only to delivering exceptional property services but also to making a positive difference within the community.
Branch Manager Juliet Livingstone said that the past five years have been about more than just property; they also reflect the company's belief that successful businesses play an important role in helping their communities thrive.
