Award-winning estate and lettings agency Northwood North East has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Mandy Anderson, who brings a wealth of property expertise.
Mandy, who has more than 12 years’ experience in the property sector, has taken on the role of Branch Manager (Banchory) and Residential Property Advisor in Aberdeen and Banchory.
A Business Studies graduate of The Robert Gordon University, Mandy began her career in the family-run business, Bon Accord Leasing, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience and progressed to General Manager.
Following the acquisition of Bon Accord Leasing by Stonehouse, Mandy was appointed New Business Manager, later progressing to Lettings Manager, a role she held for more than two years.
In 2014, she was approached by Dandara to manage lettings for a flagship onsite development in Stoneywood in Aberdeen. The role involved setting up a new leasing office and delivering a fully managed service for a large private investor who owned almost 300 units, which became Scotland’s first Build to Rent scheme.

Mandy went on to manage Dandara’s next Build to Rent development, The Point, where she built a new team, integrated new systems and led the launch to market in 2020.
The following year, Mandy and her family moved to Dubai, where she worked in Real Estate for several months. They moved back to Banchory, earlier this year.
Speaking about her new role, Mandy said: “Joining Northwood is an exciting step for me, and I’m particularly delighted to be working from the Banchory office. Returning to the area allows me to combine my experience in property with local knowledge, supporting and advising clients within the community.
