Nuvo HR is delighted to welcome Lauren Patton to its team as HR Advisor. Lauren joins with strong experience across HR operations, employee relations and people support, with a well-rounded understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by organisations today. 

Her background in delivering practical HR advice and supporting positive workplace cultures will further strengthen Nuvo HR’s growing consultancy team.

Lauren’s route into HR began in the hospitality industry, where she worked across a variety of service levels. “I’ve always loved working with people,” she explains, “and I think that’s what naturally drew me from hospitality to HR.”

After leaving school, Lauren completed a BA (Hons) in International Hospitality Management, before going on to enhance her expertise with an MSc in Human Resource Management. It was during this time that she secured her first HR role within the offshore facilities management sector for a large global company,  cementing her interest in fast-paced, people-focused work.

Throughout her career, Lauren has predominantly worked in generalist HR roles, while also spending time specialising in Employee Relations (ER) , an area she still particularly enjoys.

“It’s a really rewarding area to work in and it’s always kept me on my toes,” she says. “It allows me to keep my employment law knowledge current while applying it in real-life workplace scenarios. No day is the same, which I love, “ said Lauren.

Reflecting on her move, Lauren adds: “I’m really excited to be joining the Nuvo HR team and to have the opportunity to bring my experience into new environments, while continuing to learn and develop alongside such a welcoming and supportive team!”

Nuvo HR looks forward to the valuable contributions Lauren will bring as the business continues to support clients with flexible, hands-on people expertise.
