Odfjell Technology, an integrated supplier of well services technology, drilling operations and engineering solutions, has strengthened its operational footprint in the North Sea with the lease of a new workshop, warehouse and storage facility.

The strategic investment in Badentoy Industrial Estate, Portlethen, is in response to growing client demand across the region, particularly within the Plug and Abandonment (P&A) market. It follows the company’s 2023 relocation to Prime Four Business Park, reinforcing its long-term commitment to supporting offshore operations.

Stuart Sutherland, country manager UK, said: “We are proud to invest in the infrastructure, technology and people that support our clients to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable projects across the North Sea.

“This expansion reflects our bold ambition and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standards of service through a blend of proven expertise and innovative solutions.”

The new facility offers:

  • Increased operational capacity and improved workflow to aid efficiency
  • Implementation of new product lines supporting the P&A market
  • Enhanced accessibility for clients and partners
  • Modern, fit-for-purpose infrastructure aligned with Odfjell Technology’s commitment to excellence and innovation

Located just outside of Aberdeen, the facility offers direct support to regional projects, enabling collaboration with operators, partners, and the local supply chain.
