Odfjell Technology colleagues have continued a record-breaking year of fundraising with two major charity challenges in support of the company’s 2026 Charity Partner, Abbie’s Sparkle Foundation, which supports children with cancer across Scotland.
Following the success of the Odfjell Technology Charity Golf Open, which raised over £4,000, teams took on both the Banchory Beast Race and the Edinburgh Kiltwalk Mighty Stride over one weekend.
The Beast Race took place on Saturday, September 12, with colleagues from across all three Odfjell Technology business areas taking part in the 10K extreme cross-country challenge.
Team members were joined at the start by Tammy Main, Abbie’s mum and founder of Abbie’s Sparkle Foundation, who thanked participants for taking on the challenge. The route included hill climbs, water slides and plenty of mud, with the team crossing the finish line in just over two hours.
Kiltwalk then continued the fundraising effort on Sunday, September 13, when an Odfjell Technology team completed the final Kiltwalk event of 2026, walking 21 miles across Edinburgh in their longest challenge yet.
This followed earlier Kiltwalk events in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee, bringing the team’s total distance to 73 miles, or 117.5km, in aid of Abbie’s Sparkle Foundation.
Odfjell Technology thanked everyone who has taken part in its fundraising activities this year, from runners and walkers to golfers and supporters. Their efforts have helped raise funds and awareness for Abbie’s Sparkle Foundation throughout 2026.
