The OTL Group will be exhibiting at SPE Offshore Europe 2025, at Aberdeen’s P&J Live from 2-5th September.
Three of the group’s companies will be showcasing their products and services for the offshore sector, on stand 1V35 in Hall 1, just beside the EIC pavilion.
Oil Technics will be launching the latest versions of their OCNS Gold Standard rigwash and degreasers, Sobo Gold 40 and Sobo Gold QB 40 as well as an extensive range of specialist degreasers and offshore cleaning chemicals.
Oil Technics Firefighting Products will be providing the very latest information about the upcoming UK and EU legislation on PFAS in firefighting foams and the proposed 10 year transition period for offshore installations and SEVESO III/COMAH sites. They will also be available to discuss the upcoming IMO foam regulation changes for shipping which come into force on January 1st 2026.
The Group’s foam testing capabilities will also be featured, including PFAS Top Assay Testing, IMO foam testing, foam concentrate and produced foam testing.
Group Managing Director David Evans explained: "Right now, there’s a lot going on in the world of firefighting foams with a raft of new and proposed legislation. The original documentation from the EU, UK HSE and IMO runs to around 1200 pages, so it’s a lot to absorb. Our technical and commercial teams will be on hand to answer any questions, and we have information brochures and video available that summarise the anticipated changes.
"The most important thing to note is that there is no need for offshore installations and SEVESO III or COMAH sites to make any changes right now. There is a 10 year transition period and there are compelling safety, operational and commercial reasons to hold off.
