Oil Technics may be better known for their fire fighting foams, and specialist offshore cleaning and degreasing products, but their latest product launch is TurboClean.
The new range is being launched at the All Ford at the Grampian Transport Museum on Sunday 17th August.
"The TurboClean project was designed to challenge a team of our new graduates," explained managing director David Evans. "It’s a chance for our junior R&D chemists and marketing staff to work together to understand how new products are developed in the context of a dynamic and changing marketplace and to learn from their mistakes along the way.
"The project encompassed everything from the initial market research, product formulation, dealing with setbacks, learning about market positioning, branding, target audiences, social media, advertising and now designing a trade stand and experiencing face-to-face selling at AllFord.
"The project has been a useful learning experience resulting in a range of car cleaning products that combine professional performance with keen price points. We think the team has done such a good job that the range is now part of our global offering."
There are six products in the TurboClean range:
- TurboPower – Highly Concentrated Traffic Film Remover
- TurboFoam – Pre-Wash Snowfoam Detergent
- TurboShield – Hydro Slick Rinse Aid
- TurboGuard – Antibacterial Interior Surface Cleaner
- TurboClarity – Window and Glass cleaner
- TurboVision – All Season Screenwash
