Aberdeen based mental health consultancy Omniscient Safety Innovations Ltd is continuing to support a raft of community initiatives.

OSI recently supported local organisation Zest Football Coaching with its charitable events. The organisation, which aims to provide free football to children within the local community, required support for mental health of staff and participating youngsters.

Zander Thornton, the founder of Zest, said: “I’m delighted to be receiving support from OSI and it’s led to an opportunity to assist OSI in promotion of the amazing work they do for businesses.

"OSI is a business that helps organisations prevent mental health harm at work, while directly supporting staff. They create a completely non-judgmental environment which recognises experiences of individuals and the impact that mental health issues can have on anyone, at any time.

"They support development and growth and have enabled me personally to move past my own challenges, by providing this opportunity to talk about my mental health journey and their incredible work. I was struggling, stuck in my own moment but they offer people and businesses the chance to change and grow. I’m a prime example of it.

“Beyond this, OSI are also working alongside my own charity Zest Football coaching to support the mental health of under privileged children, through workshops, events and sponsorship.”

Sarah Townsley, projects director at OSI, said: "Whenever we can give back to the local community it’s a real privilege. We fully support the concept of Zest Football Coaching and share the belief that children should have access to sports and the benefits that follow."
