The seventh edition of OnboardXchange, Onboard Tracker’s™ annual super user forum, brought together around 80 attendees representing approximately 40 companies in Aberdeen last week.
Onboard Tracker, the leading crew management software for the energy, renewables and marine sectors, welcomed attendees from as far afield as Brazil and Malaysia to ONE Tech Hub on Thursday 10 September. Around 20% of attendees travelled to Aberdeen from outside the UK, reflecting Onboard Tracker’s continued international growth, with 40% of the companies it works with now based outside of the UK.
The full-day event gave Onboard Tracker’s super users the opportunity to maximise the platform’s potential, provide feedback to help shape the product roadmap, and discover the latest features and updates, including a personal on board facelift, learning management system scoping, the launch of a tax partnership with AAB, and a new re-seller partnership with Aroona Energy Solutions in Southeast Asia.
Onboard Tracker Managing Director, Kevin Coll led a panel discussion titled Beyond Borders: People, Mobility & Compliance. Attendees also took part in sessions covering Competence, POB and Flight Logistics, Certification and Training, and Planning Logistics and Travel.

Attendees received a demonstration of Timewriting, the latest module added to the Onboard Tracker platform. The functionality was developed following discussions with users at last year’s OnboardXchange, where it was one of the most frequently requested updates. Designed to help organisations simplify workforce time capture, the Timewriting module creates a pre-populated timesheet based on scheduled movements, jobs and assignments, which users can then review, amend and submit.
Developed in 2012, Onboard Tracker is the go-to system for global workforce planning, personnel, logistics, training and competence management for on and offshore crews. Today, the platform supports more than 160,000 personnel across the energy, renewables and marine sectors, spanning over 120 countries and more than 11,000 on and offshore sites worldwide.
