Escone Solutions, the Aberdeen-based finance systems experts, is giving organisations two ways to get more from their finance systems: a full move to iplicit, the cloud finance platform, or BISE, Escone’s newly launched integration product.

As an iplicit Authorised Partner, Escone helps businesses move off legacy systems such as OpenAccounts and eBIS and onto iplicit. BISE, built by Escone’s own team, then sits between the finance system and the other software a business runs, so information moves between them rather than living in separate places.

Escone became an iplicit partner as it approached its tenth year in business and has since supported organisations across the UK with iplicit implementation.

Across those projects, the team kept seeing the same issue. The finance system itself was doing its job, but the software around it wasn’t connecting properly. BISE was developed to close that gap.

Escone is rolling BISE out to current iplicit partners first. While it was designed for iplicit, the system also has the capability to be plugged into other finance systems, giving organisations that aren’t ready to migrate a way to benefit too.

Mike Charles, co-founder of Escone Solutions, said: “Every migration we’ve worked on has shown us where finance teams lose time. It’s rarely the finance system itself. It’s everything around it that doesn’t talk to it properly. BISE is our answer to that, and building it for iplicit first means our clients get the benefit straight away. For organisations not ready to move, it gives them a way to get more from what they already have.”

Escone first introduced BISE through a webinar in September, with interest growing from organisations looking to modernise how their finance function works.

Based on South College Street in Aberdeen, Escone Solutions provides OpenAccounts and eBIS support, professional services and iplicit implementation across the UK.
