Pale Blue Dot Energy are leading the charge as one of 24 businesses chosen to benefit from Elevator’s Accelerator Programme at the Elevator Centre for Entrepreneurship.
After an initial inspiring 10 week programme, the Pale Blue Dot Energy team have now been selected as one of just a handful of businesses to engage in the second part of the 20 week programme.
First launched in 2015, theAccelerator Programme covers different entrepreneurial themes spanning all aspects of business-from commercial models to growth and exit strategies, with everything in between.
Over the 10 and 20 week Programmes, businesses are testing, researching, developing, launching and refining their products and services, striving to improve their business potential with the support of thought leaders and established entrepreneurs imparting their knowledge.
Elevator chief executive, Professor Gary McEwan, said “the quality of applications for Cohort 2 was tremendous”, “the programme is intended to give business owners that final shove to help them realise their goal” and that “It has been a delight to have Hazel and Tim from Pale Blue Dot Energy on our Accelerator Programme. Two incredibly intelligent and articulate individuals with a real passion for what they do. Whilst already established, they were keen to see how they can develop, enhance and scale their business and the Accelerator has been an ideal platform for them to test and challenge their strategy and approach. They have made significant progress in transforming many aspects of their business offering and we look forward to working with them over the next 10 weeks to ensure they are heading in the right direction with our continued support and encouragement.”
Tim Dumenil, energy consultant at Pale Blue Dot Energy said “What an invaluable experience Pale Blue Dot has had so far with Elevator on their Accelerator Programme. The wealth of material and inspiration that has come from the Elevator Team has been fantastic. In particular we have hugely valued the one to one coaching on our business models, messaging, and pitching. The best part about the Programme is that we share the journey with our fellow Founders on the Cohort. Collective minds produce powerful results. This is just the first part of the journey and we\'re excited about what lies ahead.”
Steve Murphy, finance director at Pale Blue Dot Energy said “We are delighted to have been selected to take part in this tremendous Programme. We have some direct experience of how programmes like this can energise a business in its early days and set it up for a successful future. We are particularly pleased that Hazel and Tim have been able to lead the effort for our company and we look forward to getting a broader team engaged in the process along the way.”
