Savills has brought a parcel of land to the market near Livingston town centre, with planning permission in principal for residential development.

The 16.38 acre site on Charlesfield Road lies close to the town’s abundant array of leading retailers, bars, restaurants and leisure outlets.

The site already has road access, and its existing buildings are being cleared by the vendor leaving a cycle path through the land and a belt of mature trees on the north western boundary.

Livingston’s accessibility to Scotland’s largest cities (Edinburgh 16.5 miles and Glasgow 33.5 miles), via the M8 and excellent rail links, along with its proximity to Edinburgh International Airport (11.5 miles) makes it a popular commuter location. Now one of Scotland’s largest and most vibrant towns, it is home to a number of large employers including Sky, Prudential and Amazon.

Savills Danielle Corker says: “This parcel of land represents an opportunity for new homes to be built in one of Scotland’s most vibrant places where residents will have access to a great range of amenities.”
