PD&MS Group, a leading provider of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, is continuing its international expansion following the award of a multi-million-pound contract to support an offshore energy asset in the Middle East region.

The significant engineering contract—secured with a major international operator—includes a range of services that draw on PD&MS’s extensive experience in complex offshore brownfield modification projects. This award marks another milestone in the company’s international growth journey and reinforces its strategic focus on expanding into key global energy regions.

PD&MS Chief Executive Officer Simon Rio said: “Winning this contract in the Middle East highlights the trust major operators place in PD&MS to deliver complex engineering scopes globally. As we expand our presence in the region, our focus remains on providing high-value, sustainable solutions—while investing in local talent and forming meaningful partnerships that contribute to long-term in-country value.”

Laura Stewart, Business Development Director at PD&MS, commented: “This has been a fantastic opportunity to explore the region’s evolving energy landscape. The Middle East is showing real momentum in renewable energy and low-carbon technologies, and we’re excited to bring our capabilities to support these transformational ambitions.”

Laura said that, in line with this momentum, PD&MS is now progressing its registration across several Middle Eastern markets to enhance support for both existing and prospective clients. This move reflects the group’s long-term strategy to build a resilient, globally connected business capable of delivering across both traditional and renewable energy sectors.

As part of the wider RSK Group, PD&MS is also leveraging the capabilities of its specialist front-end engineering business, Optimus Plus, to support growing demand for early-phase design and consultancy in the renewables space—particularly in hydrogen and solar projects. This expertise is increasingly relevant in emerging energy markets across the Middle East, where innovative, low-carbon project development is becoming a strategic priority.

With a growing footprint across the UK, Europe, and now the Middle East, PD&MS is well-positioned to support the full lifecycle of energy infrastructure—delivering value through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations support.
