Petrasco awarded Middle East contract by Flowline Specialists

A leading provider of international logistics solutions to the energy industry, Petrasco, has signed a contract extension with Flowline Specialists in Dubai.

The renewed agreement, worth a six-figure sum, will see Petrasco provide warehousing, yard support and freight forwarding services to equipment manufacturer and service provider Flowline Specialists at its United Arab Emirates (UAE) operation, which was established in 2015.

The two firms have been working together since 2010, and over the past three years Petrasco has offered transport, mobilisation and customs assistance to Flowline Specialists in the Middle East.

With operations in the three major energy hubs of Aberdeen, Dubai and Houston and beyond, Petrasco is well placed to advise clients on entry into challenging markets from a logistic perspective.

Kevin Buchan, managing director at Petrasco, said: “This contract highlights the full range of logistics capabilities possessed by the Petrasco team. We are delighted to have reached this agreement with Flowline Specialists and look forward to further strengthening this relationship over the coming years.

“It’s been an exciting period for the business as we prepare for the upturn amid growing confidence in the global oil and gas industry, including in the Middle East which remains a key market for us with huge potential.”

Flowline Specialists designs, engineers and manufactures a range of cable and pipe handling and deployment equipment for use in the global oil and gas and renewable energy industries.
