Petrasco has strengthened its UK commercial team with an internal promotion as the company positions itself for continued growth throughout the remainder of 2026.
Niall Young has been promoted to client solutions manager, reflecting both his contribution to the team and his commitment to supporting clients resolve their complex logistics requirements.
Previously client solutions executive, the newly-created role reflects increased demand from energy sector clients across all aspects of Petrasco’s service offering, from international freight movement to customs consultancy.
Established in 1974, Petrasco is a specialist provider of international logistics solutions to the energy industry with operations in in the three major hubs of Aberdeen, Dubai and Houston.
Working closely alongside regional director Ross Cochrane and sales and commercial manager Tom Carmichael, Niall will assume even greater responsibility for identifying business development opportunities and delivering tailored client solutions across new and existing accounts.

Niall first joined Petrasco’s sales and commercial team in 2022, transitioning from a graduate role with parent company Denholm Energy Services. He has represented the company at numerous industry events across the UK, focusing on strengthening customer relationships and identifying new opportunities through a systematic and analytical approach.
He graduated from Robert Gordon University in 2018 with a BA (Hons) in Business Management and Marketing and went on to hold various sales and marketing roles within the sports and tourism sectors before entering the energy industry in 2020.
