Petrasco Energy Logistics has launched a fundraising appeal to support Alan Hodge, the son of a valued member of its Aberdeen team, following a life-changing medical condition.
The company described its workplace culture as one built on strong community values and said the appeal reflects its commitment to supporting people connected to its team during difficult times.
Alan was just 23 when he suffered a rare spinal infarction in October 2020, leaving him unable to walk. Since then, he has made meaningful progress through determination and intensive rehabilitation, although significant challenges remain.
He now has the opportunity to undergo specialised stem cell therapy, which could improve his mobility and quality of life. The fundraising target of £19,000 will help cover the cost of treatment, travel and rehabilitation.
Petrasco has encouraged support for the appeal, noting that contributions or simply sharing the campaign could make a meaningful difference to Alan and his family as they continue their journey.
