Glentanar Brasserie & Bar in Westhill, Aberdeen has reopened its doors to customers (Wednesday, June 7) following a £340,000 restaurant and garden refurbishment.

Situated in the Holiday Inn Aberdeen West, Glentanar Brasserie & Bar’s brand-new elegant interiors and refurbished space has been designed to be perfect for any occasion, from intimate dinners with a loved one, group celebrations with family, friends, or colleagues, or a cosy place to unwind as a hotel guest.

The Brasserie & Bar’s newly refurbished interior is inspired by the area’s rich history of leather tanning and wealth of natural materials. Guests can enjoy a taste of Scotland in modern brasserie surroundings with large tan leather booths and beech wood tables. During the summer months, customers can dine alfresco in the brasseries new outdoor space, complete with heaters, wood burner, and custom made canopy.

Inspired by Aberdeen’s natural heritage, the new menu takes a fresh approach to timeless brasserie dishes. From smoky whisky treacle cured steak frites and braised blade of Scotch beef to silky smooth oat milk panna cotta and sharing boards filled with Scottish cheeses and meats. Glentanar is proud to bring guests a relaxed yet elevated Scottish dining experience.

Also on the menu is a range of signature cocktails and serves, showcasing Scotland’s wide range of spirits, beers, and soft drinks. The menu provides guests with the classics whilst also playfully adapting timeless favourites, from a Cranachan Sour, made with Scottish Heather Honey, raspberry liqueur, and Glenmorangie (10 year), to a Scottish Spritz featuring Rhubarb and Ginger Edinburgh Gin and Irn Bru.

Glentanar Brasserie & Bar also offers a private dining experience for groups of up to 10 - perfect for intimate parties and corporate events.

Alongside the re-opening of Glentanar Brasserie & Bar, Cairn Hotel Group has also invested £80,000 in the renovation of Luigis, Holiday Inn Aberdeen West’s much-loved family Italian restaurant situated opposite Glentanar. The newly refurbished Luigi’s is complete with a speciality pizza oven and a make-your-own Gelato station.

Holiday Inn Aberdeen West has also recently adopted the hotel brand’s welcoming Open Lobby concept, designed to be an inviting public space in the heart of the local community. The new Open Lobby aims to revolutionise the way guests and the local community live and interact with the venue, especially amongst the area’s residents, providing the perfect destination for catching up with friends, grabbing a coffee and relaxing after a busy day exploring the city.

Glentanar Bar & Brasserie will be open to customers from Wednesday 7th June and will be offering any guests who book direct online here an exclusive drink when they purchase any main course meal until Monday 31st July 2023.
