The Duke of Rothesay visited Marcliffe in Aberdeen to attend an exclusive event, celebrating the work of the Homewards charity in the city.
Hosted at the five-star hotel, which is owned by Balmoral Group, His Royal Highness was welcomed on arrival by Sir Jim Milne CBE and Lady Gillian Milne.
Prince William thanked them for hosting and supporting the event before meeting organisers and touring an exhibition showcasing the work of Homewards and its partners.
Aberdeen is one of only six flagship Homewards locations across the UK and the charity's only Scottish location. The event at Marcliffe brought together key stakeholders from the Homewards Aberdeen coalition to mark the conclusion of the programme's third year.
Sir Jim said: "It was an honour to support the event and welcome the Duke of Rothesay to Marcliffe. Raising awareness of Homewards is vital, as the charity is working to end homelessness by creating safe, secure and lasting housing solutions. With Aberdeen being such an important Homewards location, it was a privilege to personally welcome His Royal Highness."
The celebration highlighted the coalition's achievements to date, raising awareness of key projects and partnerships while reinforcing a shared vision for tackling homelessness. Featuring art, music and an interactive exhibition, the event encouraged discussion and demonstrated Homewards Aberdeen's innovative, collaborative approach.
Homewards was launched by the Prince of Wales in June 2023 with the ambition of making homelessness rare, brief and unrepeated through locally led partnerships and long-term solutions.
