Converged Solutions Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. George Yule to its non-executive board, effective from December 2025. 

Prof. George Yule has over 40 years of experience across multiple industries, and brings extensive managerial skills and leadership experience. With a background in mechanical engineering and a distinguished career that includes numerous executive and non-executive positions, he will be a significant asset to the Board. He previously served as President of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce and has advised a wide range of organisations on growth, scaling, and exit strategies. George was awarded 2009 Grampian Industrialist of the Year in recognition of his outstanding contribution to industry.

A lifelong football supporter, George also served as executive vice-chairman of Aberdeen Football Club (2012–2018). During his tenure, he helped transform the organisation from a loss-making position, established the award-winning Aberdeen FC Community Trust, and played a key role in delivering the club’s new training and stadium facilities. 

Speaking about his appointment, Prof. George Yule said: “I am honoured to join the Non-Executive Board.
