A public drop-in session is to be held to gain feedback on emerging options to improve strategic transport connections and active travel for the Wellington Road Corridor.

The public drop-in event is to be held at the Aberdeen Altens Hotel on Wednesday ( November 29) from 4-8pm.

A public and stakeholder consultation was held earlier this year to help assess the options for the project, which has examined a range of potential transport improvements on the study corridor between the A90/A956 Charleston Interchange and the Queen Elizabeth Bridge.

Aberdeen City Council transport and regeneration spokesman councillor Ross Grant said: “The more feedback we get from the public the better. It helps to assess the options which are being considered for the Wellington Road Corridor.

“I’d encourage people, and particularly those who live or work in the Wellington Road area, to go along to the drop-in session to view the options and give their feedback.”

The feedback from the drop-in session will be used to finalise a report which will set out the next steps for potential improvement options for Wellington Road.

Anyone who is unable to attend the drop-in session but would like to provide views to the study team should visit the Consultation Hub on the Aberdeen City Council website where they will be able to view the exhibition slides and complete a feedback form from November 29: https://consultation.aberdeencity.gov.uk/ .
