On Thursday 20 August, Quensh hosted its annual Golf Day at the stunning Meldrum House Country Hotel & Golf Course in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, bringing together clients, contacts, colleagues and friends for a fantastic day of golf, networking and friendly competition – all while raising funds for an important local cause.
The event provided a great opportunity to reconnect with existing clients and contacts, build new relationships and enjoy a day away from the office, with teams representing a wide range of industries including energy, engineering, marine, renewables, IT and chemicals.
The day began with breakfast rolls, refreshments and a warm welcome in the Clubhouse, with attendees also receiving goodie bags prepared by the Quensh team. Teams of four then took to the course to compete in a Texas Scramble, with plenty of teamwork, camaraderie and healthy competition throughout the tournament.
There were also a number of additional challenges and activities to keep players entertained throughout the day. The ever-popular Mulligans gave golfers the chance to purchase an extra opportunity during their round, while the ‘Ball in the Boat’ challenge at the halfway house put players’ accuracy to the test.
Quensh were also delighted to continue their support for Clan Cancer Support, a charity providing vital emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer across the north-east of Scotland and beyond. Through personal donations, Mulligans and the various challenges throughout the day, Quensh were incredibly proud to raise £1,100 for Clan.
Quensh would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who donated, took part in the fundraising activities and helped them reach this fantastic total. The work Clan does to support individuals and families affected by cancer across local communities is invaluable, and Quensh are proud to play a small part in supporting such an important local charity.
A huge thank you also goes to the team at Meldrum House Country Hotel & Golf Course for their exceptional service and hospitality throughout the day. Their attention to detail and professionalism helped make the event a great success.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined the Quensh team, took part in the tournament, purchased Mulligans, tackled the challenges and helped make the 2026 Quensh Golf Day such a memorable occasion.
