On Thursday 3 July, Quensh hosted its much-anticipated Annual Golf Day at the stunning Meldrum House Country Hotel & Golf Course in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire.
As always, the day provided a brilliant opportunity to reconnect with clients, contacts, and colleagues from across the region and beyond — blending sport, conversation and a touch of competition in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
Once again, the Meldrum House team delivered exceptional service, and Quensh extend their sincere thanks to the staff for their hospitality, attention to detail, and professionalism throughout the day.
Supporting a vital cause
This year, Quensh proudly continued their support for Clan Cancer Support — a charity at the heart of north-east Scotland, offering crucial emotional and physical support to individuals and families affected by cancer.
Funds were raised through personal donations, and the ever-popular ‘Mulligans’, which players could purchase ahead of their round. The ‘Ball in the Boat’ challenge at the halfway house also made a return — with plenty of competitive spirit on display!
A great day for golf
The day teed off mid-morning with breakfast rolls, refreshments and a warm welcome in the Clubhouse — where attendees also received goodie bags kindly prepared by the Quensh team.
Quensh were thrilled to be joined by professionals from a broad range of sectors — including energy, renewables, marine, IT, chemicals, and engineering — all sharing a passion for golf and the chance to support a meaningful cause.
The tournament followed the Texas Scramble format, played in teams of four, encouraging camaraderie and great play from golfers of all skill levels. Despite a few typical Scottish showers, the weather stayed largely dry — ideal conditions for a day on the course.
Raising funds for Clan
Thanks to everyone’s generosity — through donations, mulligan purchases and fierce competition at the halfway house — Quensh are delighted to announce that £1,000 was raised for Clan Cancer Support.
Quensh would like to thank all who took part, contributed, and helped make the 2025 Golf Day such a success. Special thanks also to Clan Cancer Support for their continued partnership and inspiring work across our communities.
