Quiz clothing is set to close its Union Square store in Aberdeen, with a clearance sale already launched.

The women's fashion retailer has let North-east customers know with sale signs on the unit's windows.

The exact closing date is not yet confirmed, but the store is expected to cease trading sometime in September.

The company entered administration and announced plans to close 23 stores, putting around 200 jobs at risk.

The retailer, which launched in Scotland in 1993 with just three stores, expanded over the years to more than 250 locations across Europe and Asia.

It's the latest blow for Union Square following the closure of FatFace, Superdry, and Hollister earlier this year. The centre has since welcomed new names, including Victoria's Secret and Hobbs to fill vacant units.

Mango is also reportedly setting up shop later this year with plans to spend more than half a million pounds on refurbishment.
