Rainbow Rogues is delighted to announce that an incredible £30,840 was raised for local families across Aberdeenshire through a recent golf day organised by the team behind the Turriff-based 2Bampod podcast.

The event brought together businesses, golfers, sponsors, volunteers and supporters from across the North-east, demonstrating the remarkable impact that can be achieved when people and organisations come together behind a shared cause.

A special thank you goes to Barratt Homes, the event's main sponsor, whose support played a significant role in the success of the day. Rainbow Rogues is also grateful to McWilliam Lippe Architects, whose generous sponsorship funded the player goody bags, to Glen Cairn, who provided videography services and donated a major auction prize, and to GPH Builders Merchants, who supported the event through both team participation and the donation of a major auction prize.

The event was further supported by a wide range of local businesses, including Chamber members Ashtead Technology, Centurion, Leiths, Nicole of Skene, RSD Vantage, PMC Property, Hunting, and W M Donald, alongside many other organisations that sponsored holes, donated prizes, entered teams, and supported fundraising activities throughout the day.

For Rainbow Rogues, a community-based charity supporting children, young people, and families across Aberdeenshire, the funds raised will make a significant contribution towards sustaining and developing vital services, including family support, inclusive children's activities, and accessible community counselling.

Keri Aiken, Manager of Rainbow Rogues, said: "To see local businesses and supporters come together in this way has been truly incredible. Raising £30,840 through a single event is a phenomenal achievement and reflects the generosity, commitment, and community spirit that exists across the North East. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in making the day such a success.

While the funds raised are remarkable, what stands out most is the number of people and businesses who chose to get involved. Every sponsorship, prize donation, team entry, and act of support contributed to an event that will make a meaningful difference to families across Aberdeenshire."

Raising more than £30,000 through a single event is a remarkable achievement and demonstrates the strength of support that exists within the North East business community. The success of the day highlights the positive impact that strong partnerships between businesses, communities, and charities can create.

Rainbow Rogues would like to extend its sincere thanks to the organisers, sponsors, participants, volunteers and supporters who made the event possible.
