Whisky Week is set to return to Aberdeen from 21st to 31st August, bringing with it ten days of whisky tastings, bar trails, and guided tours that shine a spotlight on the very best of the city’s hospitality scene.

Now in its second year, Whisky Week is more than just a celebration of Scotland’s national drink. It’s a grassroots initiative to drive footfall back into our city centre bars and showcase the region as a prime whisky tourism spot. Every participating bar is paired with a whisky brand or distillery, transforming the city into a walkable “distillery tour” and encouraging attendees to explore new venues and revisit old favourites.

“The aim is simple,” says founder Charlie Bain. “We want to give people a great excuse to rediscover their local bars, support the high street, and get to know whisky in a relaxed, casual way.”

With wristbands unlocking access to exclusive drams from £5 or less at dozens of bars, as well as exclusive events and experiences, Whisky Week offers attendees great value, and a unique opportunity for local businesses to get involved.

Whisky Week is proudly built around community and collaboration. That’s why we’re inviting local companies to support the festival and our mission to play our small part to revitalise Aberdeen’s city centre.

There are two key ways to get involved:

  • Sponsor the Festival: Become part of the city’s homegrown whisky event and help us reach more people and showcase Aberdeen to people around the country and beyond.
    This
  • Corporate Partnership Packages: Treat your clients and team to festival wristbands, or host a bespoke whisky tasting or private event during the week - perfect for staff rewards, client hospitality, or brand-building.
