Aberdeen-based cutting company CUT just wrapped up its most successful six months in the company’s 40-plus-year history.

CUT achieved the highest six-month financial performance in its history, reflecting strong demand for the specialist cutting services. Six-month revenue was 64% higher than 2025 period. CUT also achieved its highest EVER monthly revenue during June 2026.

The record revenue was the result of a high number of completed projects including platform removals, pile cutting, pipeline, riser and mooring chains cutting projects across six continents.

These projects included household names from the North Sea such as East Brae, Solan, Veslefrikk and Amethyst. In Australia, the Harriet Alpha was cut and removed. That was the largest offshore platform to be removed from Australian waters to date.

Bruce Sinclair, Business Development Manager, said: “This milestone is a direct result of our team's hard work, our clients' trust, and a shared commitment to cutting excellence.

"We have completed each project safely, maintaining our strict safety and environmental standards. This record-breaking six-month period for CUT is purely organic.

"By successfully executing complex offshore campaigns CUT reaffirm our reputation as the experts in our field.”
