North-east success story Red Rooster Lifting Limited have reached an exciting milestone as the company celebrates 30 years of delivering powered lifting and load measuring solutions to projects as diverse as St Paul’s Cathedral and the new Queensferry Crossing across the Forth.
Founded in 1989 Red Rooster has grown from 3 staff working out of a small unit in Altens, to a team of 50 in Aberdeenshire and the Midlands.
The company kicked off its’ 30th celebrations with a dinner at the prestigious Meldrum House Hotel to reward the dedication of some of their loyal staff with a combined 300 years’ experience working for the company.
Bill Aitken, Red Rooster’s managing director, who joined in 1993 said; “Our vision has been clear from day one; to look after every single client’s lifting and load measuring requirements by delivering consistently high levels of quality, service, safety and integrity. And we’ve only been able to do this because of our people - a brilliant team that we wanted to recognise for the major part they have played in our success.”
As part of their 30th anniversary program Red Rooster plan a year-long community engagement program that will see staff challenged to raise money for local children’s charities that will see every pound raised matched by the Red Rooster directors.
Red Rooster have signed up to become official sponsors of the Inverness and Banchory Beast Races in 2019 which will see the distinctive Red Rooster logo on staff t-shirts as many of them take on the gruelling 10K obstacle challenge!
