A former Tory minister is set to be unveiled as Reform UK's Scottish leader along with a £1million fund to fight the Holyrood elections.
Nigel Farage will travel to Edinburgh next Thursday to announce the party's first leader north of the border.
While Farage is yet to confirm his identity, Lord Offord of Garvel, the Conservative peer who defected to Reform last month, is understood to have been selected for the role.
Reform UK has stepped up its operations in Scotland, recently hiring four new staff, including a dedicated spin doctor, following a mailshot survey sent to 1.2 million Scottish households.
Kemi Badenoch, the Conservative leader, will also travel to Scotland next week as attention increasingly turns to the Holyrood elections.
