On 10 November at the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel, Women in Tourism will welcome an inspiring gathering of women leaders, innovators, and change‑makers from across the tourism sector.
The Women in Tourism event is poised to be a milestone moment for the city and for the tourism industry in the North-east — an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and chart an inclusive future.
The event will provide the opportunity to hear from two accomplished speakers with deep roots in the North-east, Claire Bruce, co-CEO of Glen Tanar Estate and former chair of VisitAberdeenshire, and Raeanne Verlegh, travel trade and venue hire business development manager at National Trust for Scotland, whilst providing input into regional plans for a women in tourism network.
If you’re involved in tourism — at the start, middle, or height of your career — this is an event worth attending. Bring your stories, your questions, and your ideas. Together, on 10 November, Aberdeen can not only celebrate the achievements of women in tourism, but help build a future that’s more equitable, innovative, and resilient.
