RenQuip, a pioneering manufacturer of hydraulic and mechanical equipment, has marked a transformative year following the successful completion of a full management buyout (MBO).

The transition has placed managing director Marc Gerrard and technical director John Morgan firmly at the helm, steering the company through a period of significant growth, innovation, and international expansion.

RenQuip has delivered more than 40% year-on-year revenue growth, secured 47 major contracts driven by rising global demand for its high-performance OEM equipment, and expanded into several new European and international markets - with the June management buyout marking a major milestone within an already strong year.

The company has also strengthened its product portfolio, launching the AT4 1.8 flange alignment tool, which features the smallest diameter hook pin on the market at just 15 mm, and expanding the global deployment of the now subsea proven Viper 28, which demonstrated its performance when deployed on a subsea ROV. These innovations support both established energy sectors and RenQuip’s entry into new industries.

In parallel, RenQuip has grown its team from 12 to 18 employees, adding specialist capability across finance, marketing, and operations to enhance support for its expanding customer base.

Managing Director Marc Gerrard said: “2025 has been a pivotal year for RenQuip. The success following our MBO has validated our vision, strengthened our momentum, and created significant opportunities across global markets. We’re incredibly proud of the team and excited to build on this foundation as we accelerate into 2026.”

Technical Director John Morgan added: “Our focus has always been on engineering excellence, innovation, and supporting customers with tools they can trust. This year’s achievements across new products, regions, and sectors show what is possible when a dedicated team and a strong strategy align. The coming year promises to be our most significant yet.”

Looking ahead, RenQuip plans to accelerate global distribution, launch new products across both established and emerging energy sectors, and further strengthen its capabilities to meet rising global demand, while remaining agile, ambitious, and focused on long term growth. With a strong foundation and bold growth plans, RenQuip is positioned to deliver another breakthrough year.
