Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce has opened its Q4 Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) in partnership with law firm Gilson Gray.
The QES remains a key barometer of business confidence and performance across Aberdeen and the wider North-east, capturing how companies are performing and the challenges they face as we close out 2025.
This quarter’s survey comes at a pivotal time, as firms respond to shifting market conditions, changing regulations, and ongoing cost and recruitment pressures. With the Autumn Budget expected at the end of November, the findings will help ensure the voice of North-east businesses is reflected in the national conversation on growth, investment, and taxation.
Participants are asked whether they have seen an increase, decrease, or no change in core measures such as sales, cashflow, and recruitment activity. The survey also explores how financial pressures, including late payments, are impacting local firms.
By taking part, businesses can ensure their voice is heard and help shape the evidence used to influence decision-makers at local and national levels.
