Robert Gordon University (RGU) is inviting employers to exhibit at a refreshed Business and Technology Careers Fair this autumn to help students boost employability skills, secure jobs, and provide entrepreneurial support.

This flagship event is part of the Work Integrated Careers Fair Series and has been redesigned to ensure a more targeted, relevant, and impactful experience for final year students attending and businesses taking part.

With a strong focus on business, technology, and professional services, the fair provides employers with targeted access to eager students and graduates who are developing the skills and experience needed to succeed in today’s workforce.

The recruitment event which takes place at the start of the 2026/2027 academic year will highlight a diverse range of graduate-level roles available across the region with the higher education institution keen to attract a wide range of businesses, from SME and medium size companies to large corporations and third sector organisations.

Running from 11am to 2pm on Thursday 15 October, the event hosted by the Centre for Employability at RGU and is held at the University’s Sir Ian Wood Building.

The Business and Technology Careers Fair forms part of a comprehensive, sector-focused programme of events, designed to provide meaningful engagement with students throughout the academic year.

Final year undergraduate and postgraduate students are invited to network with industry professionals, obtain career advice, and find out about graduate vacancies.

Jill Stevenson, Director of Student Life at RGU, said: “Graduate employability is at the heart of our approach to education at RGU.

“We are committed to ensuring our students develop the skills, knowledge and professional experience that employers are looking for. At RGU, students begin engaging with the world of work from the early stages of their studies through placements, live projects, employer partnerships and careers events such as this one.

“We are delighted to collaborate with both regional and national employers to create meaningful opportunities for our students. These connections enable them to explore graduate and placement pathways, gain valuable insights and build professional networks that support their future career success.”

Any businesses looking to exhibit at the fair can register their interest here or email employability@rgu.ac.uk for more information.
