ROSEN is pleased to announce that Ian Laing has taken on the role of service manager for laboratory services, marking an exciting step forward in our commitment to delivering world-class testing and integrity solutions.
Ian’s journey began in 2008 with MACAW Engineering, where he contributed to the Materials and Consultancy divisions. Following MACAW’s integration into the ROSEN Group, Ian advanced into leadership roles as Materials and Corrosion Group Lead and Technical Solution Specialist, building a reputation for technical excellence and customer-focused solutions.
Beyond his core responsibilities, Ian plays an active role in shaping industry standards. He serves as Chair of the EPRG Corrosion Committee and contributes to several international committees, ensuring that best practices evolve to meet the challenges of modern asset integrity management.
In his new position, Ian will focus on consolidating and standardizing ROSEN’s laboratory testing capabilities into a unified portfolio. This strategic approach will enable us to meet the increasingly stringent requirements for long-term asset integrity, supporting operators with rigorous, reliable, and innovative testing services.
Ian commented on his new role: “I’m excited to take on this challenge and build a strong, unified laboratory and testing service offering. Our goal is to provide customers with the highest level of confidence in their assets by delivering testing solutions that are robust, consistent, and aligned with the evolving needs of the industry.”
