The annual Aberdeen Football Club Player of the Year dinner, sponsored by Team Recruitment and Tulloch Recruitment, took place for the first time at the P&J Live last night.
Over 800 guests were in attendance for the first in person Player of the Year awards since 2019.
Six awards were handed out on the night, the winners are listed below.
Aberdeen FC Community Trust Community Supporter Award

The Community Supporter Award recognises the outstanding contribution made by an individual, group, or organisation in support of the AFC Community Trust vision, which is… “To provide support and opportunity to change lives for the better.”
The winner was chosen by the Trust management team.

Development Player of The Year

The winner of this award has been selected following consideration from Jim Goodwin, Barry Robson and Scott Anderson. It is based on the contribution that this player has made to the Development Team over the course of the season.
The 2021/22 Development Player of the Year was Ryan Duncan.
Young Player Of The Year

This award was selected by Jim Goodwin, and his coaching staff.
The 2021/22 Young Player of the Year was Connor Barron.
Goal Of The Season

This award was voted for by the Red Army through afc.co.uk, with the AFC media team drawing up the shortlist of contenders.
The 2021/22 Goal of the Season was Vicente Besuijen's stunning strike against Hibernian at Pittodrie in March.
Players’ Player Of The Year

This award allows the players themselves to select a team‐mate who they believe has made the biggest contribution to the team during the season. The award is voted for by all first team players via a private ballot.
The 2021/22 Players’ Player of the Year was Lewis Ferguson.
AFC Player Of The Year

The club gave supporters the opportunity to vote for their Player of the Year online, with fans being asked to select the player they felt had the biggest impact on first team performances this season, and who deserved to be the latest recipient of this coveted award.
They were asked to choose from a list of the ten players who have made the most appearances throughout the campaign.
The three players who received the most votes, in alphabetical order, were Lewis Ferguson, Ross McCrorie and Calvin Ramsay.
The 2021/22 AFC Player of the Year was Ross McCrorie.
