Kerry Allison is the newest recruit to SAC Consulting Food & Drink and brings with her 10 years of experience in the Food Service and Production Industries.
Immediately prior to joining SAC Consulting Kerry was in a senior marketing role acting as global brand activist for a highly successful and entrepreneurial Scottish Craft Brewery. Kerry worked with this business for the last seven years, where as operations manager she successfully launched and rolled out 26 bars, restaurants, shops and visitor centres throughout the UK and internationally. Kerry was also involved in NPD helping to ensure the product portfolio remained innovative and exciting. This included launching a number of new products every year, backed up by development and design, and sales and marketing plans.
In her early career Kerry worked in the Fine Dining sector as a Food and Beverage Manager in multiple Rosette establishments gaining qualifications in wines, spirits and beers through WSET, achieving Sommelier Certification and Cicerone Certification.
Kerry’s appointment further broadens and deepens the range of skills within SAC Consulting Food & Drink. Kerry will be working on a range of projects including Connect Local – Scotland’s local food and drink marketing advisory service; and Knowledge Transfer and Exchange. Kerry will also play a key role in raising the profile of SRUC’s Food & Drink capability and SRUC’s service provision along the agri food and drink supply chain.
