SAMH is inviting individuals and workplaces to take part in a 45-minute interactive wellbeing session with NIDMAR-qualified expert and workplace mental health facilitator Danny Quinn.

The online webinar will explore how winter affects mental health and provides practical strategies to stay motivated, balanced and resilient during the darker months.

As the days grow shorter and the temperatures drop, many of us feel our mood and energy levels dip. This engaging session explores why these changes happen and offers simple, realistic ways to boost wellbeing throughout the winter months.

Danny Quinn will guide participants through the effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), share practical tips to lift mood and motivation, and highlight healthy habits that can make a lasting difference.

He said: “Winters can be notoriously difficult throughout Scotland, and we recognise the impact that can have on our mental health and wellbeing. I'm excited to share how small, practical changes throughout these months can yield big differences in our outlook and approach to the winter months”.

The session also offers a glimpse into SAMH’s broader workplace training programme, which helps organisations support staff mental health all year round.

Places are now open to book here. Give your wellbeing a winter boost with SAMH’s expert-led session and learn how to thrive through to spring.
