Sangster & Company is pleased to announce its appointment as principal contractor for The Falls Project, a new fine dining restaurant set to open near Banchory in summer 2026.
The development will transform the former Falls of Feugh site into Falls by Orry Shand, a high-end riverside dining destination led by renowned chef Orry Shand and his team. The project represents a significant investment in the local hospitality sector and is expected to become a standout addition to Royal Deeside’s food and drink offering.
Strip out works are already well under way, marking the first phase of the refurbishment programme. The project will involve a comprehensive redevelopment of the existing building, delivering a premium dining environment in keeping with the location’s unique setting.
Sangster & Company will work closely with Orry, Bruce and their team throughout the build, alongside Glasgow-based Scarinish Studio, who have been appointed to lead the interior design and Steve Taylor Architecture to create a truly distinctive dining environment.
