SBP Accountants & Business Advisers (SBP), a leading north-east accountancy firm has reinforced its senior management with the appointment of Rhys Jones.
Joining the company as a Senior Manager, Rhys brings more than 20 years of experience in the finance sector. Having built his career with accountancy firms in North Wales and Edinburgh, he went on to spend the past 14 years with Aberdeen-based Hall Morrice, where he developed extensive expertise in accounts and business advisory across a range of sectors.
A graduate of Edinburgh University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Music, Rhys discovered his passion for finance early in his career when he joined a small accountancy firm in his hometown in North Wales. The role provided him with a strong grounding in the profession and instilled the work ethic and client focused approach that continues to shape his career today.
He later joined Mitchell Edwards in Edinburgh before moving to Aberdeen in 2012 to take up a business advisory role with Hall Morrice. During his 14 years with the firm, Rhys developed a particular passion for training and mentoring, playing a key role in expanding the team while building and managing a diverse portfolio of more than 120 clients.

Founded in 1975, SBP has over 50 years of experience serving businesses in the North-east of Scotland with offices in Aberdeen, Fraserburgh, Peterhead and Banff.
