Scandinavian Airlines increases flights from Aberdeen International Airport to Copenhagen

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has boosted the number of flights to one of Aberdeen International Airport’s key destinations.

A new Wednesday morning departure to Copenhagen will take-off from April 17 and is on sale now.

Steve Szalay, managing director, Aberdeen International Airport said: “Copenhagen has obvious links to the energy sector and as production levels increase across oil and gas projects, it’s encouraging to see our business travellers consistently use flights. Copenhagen has appeal to our leisure passengers too and was named as Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel for 2019.

“SAS has been a supportive partner for some time and we warmly welcome the decision to further increase its presence here at the airport.”

Niko Ek, general manager for SAS Europe said: “We are happy to announce that we increase our number of flights on our direct route between Aberdeen International Airport and Copenhagen. We make it possible to fly to and from Copenhagen direct and SAS is the natural choice for international visitors when travelling to Scandinavia.”
