Scot-Tech Fire and Security has joined Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce (AGCC), enhancing its connection with the North-east of Scotland’s business community.

The membership follows the successful completion of a major community CCTV project in Ellon, reinforcing the company’s commitment to regional collaboration, local partnerships and growth. The company joins a network of organisations, including sister companies Converged Communication Solutions and IFB, focused on innovation, partnership, and long-term economic development, while continuing to work closely with local partners to deliver reliable, future-ready technology solutions.

The membership comes as Scot-Tech continues to deliver technology projects that support both businesses and local communities. The focus on community-led infrastructure is reflected in Scot-Tech’s recent delivery of a new town-centre CCTV system in Ellon.

The digital network, completed in December 2025 on behalf of Ythan Community Council (YCC), is the first of its kind in the town and is now fully operational following several years of planning and community engagement. The project was also delivered in partnership with Aberdeenshire Council and Police Scotland, ensuring the CCTV system met local priorities and public safety requirements.

The installation forms part of a wider programme of town-centre CCTV deployments delivered by Scot-Tech across Aberdeenshire, supporting local communities in enhancing public safety and providing long-term, resilient security infrastructure.

Graeme Gordon, CEO of Converged Solutions Group, said: “Projects like the Ellon CCTV system show how technology can make a real, practical difference to local communities. Joining AGCC reflects our commitment to working closely with businesses, councils and community groups across the North East to deliver security solutions that improve safety and confidence.”

With AGCC membership now in place, Scot-Tech looks to further strengthen relationships across the North East business community while continuing to support public and private sector organisations with technology solutions that deliver practical, measurable impact.

Lesley Taylor, Relationship Manager at Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Scot-Tech as a new member. Having worked with long-standing members Converged Communication Solutions and IFB, we know the Group’s strong reputation for technical expertise and local delivery. Scot-Tech’s focus on community safety and business resilience makes them a valuable addition to the Chamber network.”
