Siberia Bar & Hotel’s Business Development Manager, Scott Anderson (professionally known outside the building as HomeAlone) last weekend had a brush with fame once again as he opened for Grammy award-winning U.S rapper Jack Harlow at Glasgow’s O2 Academy. The hit-maker, famed for hits “First Class”, “What’s Poppin” and his collaboration with Lil Nas X “Industry Baby” sold out the 2.5k capacity venue on Sunday, November 6, 2022.

The DJ, who spends 9-4 each day handling the Belmont Street bars output - from social media to sales and events, moonlights as the country's premier Hip-Hop/R&B DJ opening for music superstars such as Drake, The Weekend and Anderson Paak. His style of mixing has garnered attention worldwide having been called “better than 90% of DJs [hip-hop journalistic royalty Sway Calloway] has ever had the pleasure of hearing spin”.

Anderson says; “it’s always a pleasure to be awarded these opportunities and long may they continue! I want to thank Stuart McPhee and the team at Siberia for their constant flexibility when it comes to my hectic lifestyle and to everyone who has shown support over the last few days, months and years”.

Company Director Stuart McPhee added; “Scott works tirelessly in his spare time to promote and push his talents as one of the best open format Djs in the UK. It’s always great to see talent recognised and him be able to showcase his skills”

Anderson frequently DJs within the bar as one of their resident selectors - he can be found across the Christmas season providing a party atmosphere at Siberia and beyond.
